Crafting the Unexpected
Bocci iss a multidisciplinary space where creativity, craftsmanship, and experimentation converge.
Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Bocci’s approach is rooted in pushing the boundaries of traditional design through novel production methods that allow materials to reveal their inherent potential. From their humble beginnings in a modified barn in rural British Columbia, Bocci has evolved into a global name in sculptural lighting, where each piece is developed, engineered, and fabricated in-house. Founded in 2005 by creative director Omer Arbel and entrepreneur Randy Bishop, Bocci is driven by a philosophy of “constrained chance,” embracing unpredictability and the beauty that can emerge when control is relinquished, resulting in lighting designs that are as unexpected as they are captivating.

14P PORTABLE TABLE LIGHT by Omer Arbel for Bocci
14p transforms Bocci’s iconic 14 Series, first launched in 2005, into a portable, candle-like table light. The rechargeable cast-glass pendant—made of two imperfect poured-glass hemispheres—is fully wireless. Anywhere you go, so does 14p’s rippling, watery glow. Press the button to change through three ambient lighting levels. Avaiable in 3 shades–Clear, Sepia, and Grey–14p is USB-C compatible and reaches a full charge in 45 minutes, lasting from 8 hours at the brightest setting, and up to 80 hours at the lowest setting.

73.1 V PENDANT by Bocci
73V is an expansion of the technique used to create Bocci’s popular 73 series. The new pendant features a novel oblong shape and gradient colour range. 73V results from blowing molten glass into a folded, heat-resistant ceramic fabric. The resulting shape has a formal and textural expression intuitively associated with fabric, which becomes permanent as it cools. A light source is positioned at the top of each pendant, accentuating the volumetric perception of the piece as well as the gradation of colour. Available in 7 colours– Clear, Grey, Purple, Blue, Opaque White, Opaque Green, and Opaque Blue.
Bocci is available through ECC.
