Parnell Gallery

Where fine art and design harmoniously converge.

Parnell Gallery’s heritage building features a light-filled dedicated exhibition space on its first level. Pictured artworks are by Greer Clayton, Neil Driver and Stephen Howard.

Parnell Gallery has long understood the unique synergy fine art and interior design enjoy, offering a seamless way for designers to  integrate art into their projects. With a thoughtful range of services, they ensure that sourcing and selecting artwork is both an enjoyable and smooth journey.

If you’re based outside of Auckland or are in search of an ‘in situ’ visual reference, the gallery’s Digital Rendering service is a game-changer. By simply sharing images of the room with the gallery, designers can see their chosen artworks digitally placed within the space. This innovative approach allows for a clear visualisation of how each piece harmonises with the environment, complete with accurate wall or furniture measurements to provide a true sense of scale. It’s a confidence boost that makes the final decision feel just right.

Further, Parnell Gallery’s ‘On Approval’ service invites designers and their clients to take particular artworks home, to see how each piece interacts with their space in realtime lighting and settings. For larger works, the gallery can arrange delivery, making it all the more convenient to find that perfect fit.

If you have your heart set on a specific artist’s style but can’t find the exact piece, commissions are a natural extension of what Parnell Gallery offers. Their experienced team will facilitate and coordinate works customised to your unique dimensions, client requests, and timelines with clarity, ensuring that your vision comes to life beautifully.
